Eva Snitt was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. She studied painting at the Glypoteket, Copenhagen under Egon Bjerg-Nielsen. She lived in Spain for a number of years. While there she worked for the painter, Paco Riera Bonet. When she returned to Stockholm she continued her studies, taking courses at Harvey Cropper's school for artists. Eva Snitt is interested in texture and color, as well as expressing the mood of a range of different life situations. Her work is multi-faceted and includes everything from still Life, interpretations of dreams, landscapes, buildings and portraits. She works mainly with oil and canvas. She has exhibited her work at a number of places, including some galleries in Spain. Also at the gallery Vita Villan Fruängen, the Art Gallery and Gummesons in Stockholm.
